Our Ash Wednesday service on February 17 at 7:00pm will begin our Lenten observance. The service will include communion, the imposition of ashes, and prayers for healing. Traditionally the ashes used for this service
come from last year's palms and remind us of our humanness and mortality. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent, a time do some spring cleaning of our heart, knowing all the while that Christ will raise us up
out of the ashes of our lives so that we might again smell the promise of resurrection hope and forgiveness.
