Whether you want to meet others with similar interests, support others in need, or help out with various church functions, there are many opportunities at First Presbyterian Church. Congregational Health Ministry Team

People interested in providing a Health Ministry within the church make up this group. They seek a continuing wholeness and wellness approach to health care as well as providing monthly blood pressure screenings and an annual health fair. 

Distribution of Worship Recordings

CD recordings of 10:30am worship can be delivered to home-bound members.

Greeting Card Ministry

These people represent the church by sending cards in times of illness, celebration or bereavement.

Hospital Visitation Ministry

People involved in this ministry are ambassadors of the church in a hospital setting comforting members during acute hospitalizations.

New Member Ministry

People on this team help organize and facilitate new member receptions. They help the new members learn about and become part of the ministries of First Presbyterian Church. They also may recruit “sponsors” for each new member household as well as plan special events for recent new members to become better acquainted with the congregation and church leadership.

Prayer Chain

The prayer chain is a list of people who provide support through prayer for individuals during difficult times and prayers of thanks during joyful times.  If you have a prayer request, please fill out the Prayer Request form.

Publicity

These people assist with all types of publicity for worship and special events (print, TV, radio, etc.).
