The Pasrur Project

For about $1.23 a day, you can change a young girl's life by sponsoring her education in Pakistan.

By educating young women you can impact a family, a village, a region.

The Pasrur Boarding School is one of many schools run by the Presbyterian Education Board (PEB) in Pakistan in conjunction with the Presbyterian Church in the United States. These schools have a proven record of excellence and go back over 100 years.

Listen to the July 31, 2009 episode of The Exchange on Iowa Public Radio. In the first half hour, Jane Cranston is interviewed regarding the Pasrur Project.

How can I help?

There are many ways to help the Pasrur Project.

Pray

Pray for the girls, families, teachers, and administrators at the school in Pakistan. They face many dangerous realities most of us will never know.

Pasrur Video

In 2007, the First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City, Iowa, built the Pasrur Girls' Boarding School in Pasrur, Pakistan for the purpose of educating impoverished Christian girls.

Jane and Ed Cranston went to Pakistan to visit the Parur school and bring back pictures to share with all the people who made this dream a reality.
